Welcome to Surfleet Primary School

school building

Dear parents,

Welcome to Surfleet Primary School's website, which we hope will provide you with a flavour of life at our wonderful school.  Surfleet Primary School is part of a collaboration of three schools; the other two being Pinchbeck East C.E Primary School and Spalding Primary School.

It is important to make the right choice for the start your child's education and whilst our website can give you a window into our school, an actual visit will provide you with an insight into life at our school and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.  Visits are, therefore, always welcome; we always enjoy meeting new, as well as existing parents and carers.  Please contact the school office to make an appointment to visit.

We have high aspirations and expectations for every one of our pupils and all our staff are committed to providing the highest quality of education to ensure every child has every opportunity to achieve and succeed.  Children’s progress is monitored carefully throughout their time with us so that we can provide relevant intervention, challenge and support where necessary.

Our values are centred on the child and to us every child does really matter.  We provide a caring environment in which we strive to meet the learning needs of every child to enable each and every one to reach his or her full potential.  We want to encourage a 'can do' approach and attitude; we want our children to have the confidence to have a go and try; we want our children to leave at the end of Year 6 as confident students with enquiring minds and a love of learning.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school and working with you throughout your child’s time at Surfleet Primary School.

Yours sincerely

Andrew Raistrick

Executive Headteacher

Our PAN for each year group is 15.

In 2014, we entered a collaboration with Spalding Primary School and Pinchbeck East Primary School. This collaborative approach allows us to keep our school's identity, but ensures teachers’ expertise, skills and knowledge are shared in order to develop the highest standards in education. Our team is committed in providing an excellent education that enables all children to achieve their full potential, but don't just take our word for it! If you've yet to visit, please make an appointment to be shown around, we look forward to welcoming you to our school.

If you require a copy of any of the information on our website, you will be provided with a copy free of charge.

We are proud to announce that we were in the top 3 nominations and awarded runner up in the Primary School of the Year awards 2015.
