Parent Questionnaire Spring 2017

Thank you to everyone who responded to the Spring Term Parent Questionnaire. The results are below. The results are, in the main, very positive and we will be looking at how we can address those areas of concern that have been highlighted.

These results show a significant increase across the school reflecting the impact of our new approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.

Year 1 Phonics Results

59% of children passed their Year 1 Phonics Reading Test.  This figures rises to 71% when 3 new English as Additional Language pupils who arrived mid-way through Year 1 are excluded.  The national figure for 2012/2013 was 69%; figures for this academic year are yet to be released.

Results for the tests taken in the academic year of 2012/2013

This table shows the results as a percentage of all pupils; Boys and Girls who were entered for the 2013 National Curriculum Key Stage 2 Tests.

The number of pupils entered for the tests at the end of Key stage 2 in 2012 = 8 (1 pupil is equal to 12.5%)

The table below shows the percentage of pupils from this school, at the end of KS2 at each level;

The percentage of children at Level 4 and above in both English and Maths was 89% with the National average at 74%

The percentage of children making 2 levels progress in math's was 100% with the National average at 92%

The percentage of children making 2 levels progress in English was 100% with the National average at 90%

* Two pupils were entered for the level 6 Mathematics papers and achieved these scores; as well as their level 5 results.
